Things have gotten awfully political around here lately but it is election season. I got this in the mail today and instead of spamming everyone I know I thought I would post it here.
"PBS poll: Do you think Sarah Palin is qualified to serve as Vice President of the USA?
Voting started at about 66% No, 30% Yes. It's now "yes" at 54% and "no" at 44%. The right wing has an email campaign going to turn the results around.
Please vote. The way this culture is going, with its worship of celebrity over substance, this sort of thing can actually matter, unfortunately. It's only a matter of clicking a radio button Yes, No, or Don't know.

After you vote, please send this to others."

Ugh! Polls! (!) For the forseeable future everyone's going to be bleating about the polls. The thing is... when you're up, the polls are solid evidence; and when you're down, polls don't mean anything.
Here's hoping that people will actually get off their keisters and go click in the one that counts.
It's now neck and neck. Bleh! It's crazy how this country is so divided! I just cannot imagine thinking the McCain/Palin ticket will help our country out. They are just not the answer we need right now.
In the words of my daughter: BAMA!
I just went back to check (I 'voted' yesterday) and yes is at 50%, and no is at 48%.
Thank goodness the intelligent people are chiming in.
And because it is still shocking to me...one of the child-care workers at MOPS today called me Sarah Palin. UGH!!!!
I cannot stand Sarah Palin. There. That's my $0.02.
