The campaign has gotten, in my opinion, unfairly ugly. In response to the rediculous and frankly racist accusations by Palin, that because Obama served on a committee with Bill Ayers who may have terrorist ties and therefore he is "pals" with him. Even if Obama had anykind of "association" with him, (I associate with A LOT of people who I don't agree with) that does not in anyway disqualify him from being presidnet. UGLY.
Now the Obama campaign has released a short documentarty about John McCain's association as part of the Keating Five - a group of five senators who received political benefits from Charles Keating in exchange for looking the other way from criminal behavior. Here is a link to a very insightful article on the piece and it's political implications including the video clip.
This is super ugly and I'm not sure that this was the right way to go. Mainly because I think that no one can really take Sarah Palin very serriously on this and I'm not sure that the audience that this is geared toward (those as yet undecided) can destinguish between the two ugly, ugly accusations.
Got to go watch the debate.
