"It's Barack Obama's Vote"
Out of the mouths of babes or in this case, just CR...
I spent well over 90 minutes today going over the 1/2 inch thick Colorado Voter's Guide - 14 state consitutional amendemnts, 4 state referendums, plus the candidates and judge approvals. Whew...I'm tired.
CR and I will get up early tomorrow and head to the mall where we will participate in Democracy. Colorado allows early voting, which given the sheer amount of things to actually vote on is wonderful. Naievely, we didn't sign up for the mail in ballot thinking how hard would it be to show up not to mention that CR could go. For her it will not be the first time, she particiapted with us in the Colorado Caucuses. Since then, little miss has convinced her parents to vote Obama (we would have come around anyway - it would be a cold day indeed for us to vote for McCain) but we enjoy telling CR that she is the reason we're voting Obama. It makes her happy that we are voting for her "other" best friend.
Let's all keep our fingers crossed...I'm afraid for this country.

CR, I <3 your BFF barak obama, too. I just want to grab his big old ears and plant a smooch on him. not really....well ok. maybe I really do.
Anyway, had a dream last night that it was election day and the polls were neck and neck. Lets keep our fingers crossed. Happy democracy day. skype me if you have a chance.
Hooray for voting. We have to wait another week and a half. Blech.
