Here is our little CR, who really is not so little anymore. She started school this past September and Oh how she's grown! She loves practicing her letters and desperately wants to learn to read but isn't quite ready to yet. She loves Tinkerbell, Fancy Nancy, Pirates and sometimes, Princesses - but only the "cool kind".
Ms. Sassy Pants Mugging for the camera. She's still dancing up a storm. She looks forward to seeing her buddies at ballet each week. She did make the decision this fall that she did not want to continue with tap. I have to admit I was not sad at all about this.
With her beloved Auntie Kate. Auntie Kate walks on water, did you know that? CR loves her family, even the far flung members. She frequently asks about her relatives and friends she hasn't seen in a while. It is especially sweet when she includes them in her prayers. She desperately misses her cousins in Africa and asks about once a week how long until she sees them again. She wonders what they are doing and what time it is there.
She is looking forward to Kindergarten in the fall but admits to being a bit scared about being away from home for a full day. It helps that some of her school friends will also be attending her Elementary school.
She is the queen of details but also loves to get lost in imaginary worlds. The picture above is from our trip to DC this past November.
Captain CR piloting the pirate ship at Zoo Boo this past October! I just love watching her grow up. She is probably the most interesting and unique person I have ever met. She thinks differently and I can't wait to see what that brings for us.
